Brad S. Stum Attorney at Law

BIOGRAPHY

Bradley Shane Stum (“Brad”) is a native Texan raised in Azle, Texas – a suburb of Fort Worth. In that regard and on a personal note, Brad said it was quite comical to say, “[H]owdy, y’all (or y’all in general)!” as a 1L in Michigan.  But he did just that throughout law school and if you meet him, you’ll understand why.

Brad attended the University of Texas in Austin, Texas (“UT”) obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Government. During his undergraduate studies, Brad found an increasing interest in Real Estate, so he procured a position with a Real Estate Broker working part-time as a “collections agent” while attending UT.  His employment afforded him growth in learning the practical aspects of lawsuits and negotiations, and more specifically, the Texas Property Code along with general Real Estate Law and governing Regulations. But Brad’s most rewarding aspect of the position – the experience of working with clients.

After graduating from UT, Brad worked as a Probate Paralegal for a Plaintiff’s Law Firm in Austin, Texas before applying for law school. With considerable thought, he opted to attend Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree in Law with a Concentration in Litigation. While attending law school, Brad competed in mock trial and moot-court competitions preparing for his law practice and his Externship with the Dallas County’s Public Defender’s Office in Dallas, Texas before ultimately passing the Texas Bar Exam.

With an ambitious dedication, Brad founded and started his own private law practice – STUM LAW FIRM, PLLC. He maintains the principle of operating a boutique, private-law practice with a one-on-one legal representation policy with every client.

Brad is a proud Member of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (DAYL), the Dallas County Bar Association, the Tarrant County Bar Association, and the Texas Exes.
